Bio
I’m Prapti Choudhary, an engineering student with a deep interest in storytelling, community-building, and purposeful action. I believe that meaningful ideas should be shared — whether through words, initiatives, or human connection. As someone who has always leaned into introspection and expression, I find joy in curating conversations that challenge norms and ignite new perspectives. With roots grounded in empathy and ambition, I hope to use every platform I touch — digital or physical — to inspire clarity, courage, and connection.
I'm passionate about
Helping people, especially young minds, reconnect with their own voice — not the loudest one, but the truest one. I’m passionate about using creativity, communication, and community to shift cycles, break limiting beliefs, and build something better together.
An idea worth spreading
That we’re not stuck.
We often live inside patterns — of overthinking, proving ourselves, or repeating what’s familiar — because we believe we have no other choice. But we do. I believe in breaking the loop — whether it’s personal, cultural, or systemic — and choosing to think differently. Even one new idea, one question asked differently, can start that shift. My idea worth spreading is this: You don’t need permission to change your story. You just need awareness, action, and the courage to begin.

The TED story
I’ve always been drawn to TED not just as a platform, but as a mindset — where ideas, when shared honestly, can move people. I don’t have a perfect success story or one grand moment that changed everything. Instead, I have a hundred small ones — late nights of self-doubt, quiet breakthroughs, meaningful conversations, and moments where I chose to keep showing up.
I see TEDx as a space where people don’t just speak — they break patterns, build bridges, and leave something behind that lives longer than applause. As someone who is slowly stepping into the role of a curator, a collaborator, and maybe one day a speaker too, I hope to create and contribute to events that remind us we’re not alone in our questions — and we’re braver than we think in answering them.
Things you might not know
I’m good at holding space — whether it's through public speaking, listening without judgment, or leading a team calmly during chaos. People often don’t realize I’ve been practicing yoga and mindfulness consistently, which helps me stay centered even under pressure. I also have a natural instinct for connecting with people emotionally, even in short conversations.
