Bio
Ben Anderson, Co-CEO B Lab U.S. / Canada, co-leads market-based work with Certified B Corporations (B Corps), benefit corporation governance and impact management tools. He is also a Member of the Global Leadership Team, which governs the global network of B Lab / Sistema B regional partners.
Ben joined B Lab after a career as a social entrepreneur, including serving as COO at Preserve, a Certified B Corp, which is best known for turning yogurt cups into toothbrushes and running innovative closed-loop recycling systems. Earlier in his career Ben developed, directed and expanded a range of urban education programs, including founding a Boston charter school, founding an academic program within the Steppingstone Foundation, and directing a campus for Citizen Schools. He received his BA from Williams College and an MBA from Babson.
