My current professional ambition is on large scale systems change for regeneration, and in finding ways in which we can effectively collaborate and scale systemic nature based solutions to climate change, primarily in Latin America, but drawing on international best practice too. Currently I do this through Brazil’s Instituto de Conexões Sustentáveis (CONEXSUS), an award winning social enterprise assisting 1000+ grassroots cooperatives access working capital to scale climate solutions. Until recently I was global lead for food and agriculture in the team of the COP26 and COP27 and COP28 High Level Champions and the Climate Ambition Alliance, and advisor on global strategy to Sistema B and the BCorp movement, with a substantive focus of low carbon resilient food systems as a major climate drawdown pathway. My last career positions have been as Managing Director for Latin America at Porticus, the global international private foundation of the C&A holding; and as International Portfolio Manager for the Amazon Basin at Avina Foundation, where I developed a Pan-Amazon program addressing climate change by developing alternatives to deforestation. I am interested in how we shift to the Regeneration paradigm, at scale, fast, and leaving nobody behind. And I am hopeful we can do it!

By developing technical and financial solutions that work for them, we can help them scale natural climate solutions to drawdown 50GT of CO2eq by 2030, with benefits for nature and millions of people that make up 1/3 of the worlds workforce.
