I am Wael, a Sudanese-American currently based in Cairo. I am the organizer of TEDxElTagammoa, where I continue my mission of spreading impactful ideas and fostering meaningful discussions. Professionally, I work as an English Language Trainer at Triumph Hotels, helping hospitality professionals enhance their communication skills to deliver exceptional guest experiences. I also hold a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from Cairo University and serve as a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering. Beyond my career, I am passionate about community service and knowledge-sharing. I founded and organized TEDxWadmedani, leading it for nine consecutive years. I have also trained and mentored individuals to host TEDx events in various Sudanese cities, expanding the reach of TEDx and inspiring new voices. Additionally, I am a Peace Ambassador with the Global Peace Chain and a former Regional Advisor at Resilience and Transformation, North Africa Office. My goal is to create platforms that empower individuals to share their ideas and contribute to positive change.
