I am 58 years old CEO and president and for the last 18 years have been the manager of Aquamarine Fund, an investment partnership inspired by the original 1950's Buffett partnerships with market beating returns. Married to my Mexican wife, Lory, I have 3 beautiful children and recently moved to Zürich, Switzerland from New York City. A First Class BA from came from Oxford University, Brasenose college, (PPE - politics, philosophy and economics) and I was co-awarded the George Webb Medley prize for the best performance in that year in Economics. My MBA (class of 1993) was awarded by Harvard Business School where I am still very actively involced with the Alumni association Along the way I spent two years working at Braxton Associates (now part of Deloitte Consulting), and 6 months as a stagaire at the Forward Studies Unit of the European Commission in Bruxelles. I am a regular commentator on Bloomberg TV Europe and appear in various articles and magazines fairly frequently including in in connection with my charity lunch with Warren Buffett and Mohnish Pabrai. In New York, I served for 4 years at the President of the Oxford Alumni Association of New York, and is am the advisory board of the Dakshana Foundation. I am an inner circle sponsor of TED India, a member of YPO and of EO / Entrepreneurs Organization. Also an avid Toastmaster, and founder of VALUEx.
