I am a final year undergraduate student and I am currently pursing my Bachelor's in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
I spend my time in college working in academia and organizing events, which is nothing short of a perfect blend.
I've presented my research in the field of Medical Imaging and Computer Vision in various conferences all over the globe such as
PyconUs 2020 - https://us.pycon.org/2020/schedule/presentation/214/
PyconAu (Australia) 2020- https://2020.pycon.org.au/program/duguzz/

I've been a part of the organizing committee for the TEDx event in my University (TEDxKIITUniversity )for past two editions now.
I'm passionate about
Life and everything it has to offer.
I'm passionate about advancing and using technology like never before, for using technology to achieve the unthinkable.
For me, Science is synonymous with evolution.

An idea worth spreading
"Kindness doesn't cost you a penny"
This is something I always heard my grandmother tell everyone around her. She passed away when I was little and thus I have very little memory of her.
Although there are things I do remember, I remember how during the hot summer days she never let anyone leave our house without a glass of water, be it a salesperson, a beggar, a plumber, technician or even an animal! And I remember how this little gesture would brighten up their day.
I remember how she cared for all the plants in our house, how she used to feed the birds in our locality. I remember how she gave away her pension one month when her caretaker, our house-help, could not afford her child's medical expenses.
I remember how she always taught us to be kind, to ourselves and others, to animals, nature and this world for she believed that KINDNESS is all it takes to change the world because an act of kindness always goes a long way.
She taught me that in a room full of the most beautiful, intelligent, rich, successful people, I should work on being called the kindest.

The TED story
I have been following TED on YouTube since the time I was in high school. Being the shy kid that I was back then, TED was my source of information or knowledge that I used to talk about with my peers and in no time, watching TED talks on YouTube became a habit.
A lot of who I am today is because of the kind of positive content my young(er) self feasted upon.
It was Shinjini Kundu, a fellow Indian academic genius who earned her PhD at 25 and is an advocate for women in STEM inspired me pursue Biomedical Imaging as my field of research by her talk "Artificial Intelligence Can Change the future of Medical Diagnosis" back in 2018.
Whenever I felt uncomfortable being the only woman in the room, whenever I felt scared about speaking up for myself, I thought of what how Tabatha Coffey inspired me, as a woman, to be confident, assertive and headstrong in whatever I do through her TED talk "Why You Need To Be A B*tch"
Through the years, the stories I've seen, the experiences I've heard about because of this platform have taught me that it's okay to feel lost at times, to not have a plan(Mithila Palkar), to not take things personally(Federick Imbo). It made me realize the importance of having a sense of humor (Peter Perceval) and saying sorry (Robert M. Gordon).
TED has been my escape, solace and my happy place when I'm anxious, sad, excited or inspired. It kept me entertained while educating me. It not only made me 'academically smart' but also 'life- smart' all while helping me become emotionally wise.
Therefore, it was quite natural for me to jump at the first opportunity I got to be a part of the magic at TEDxKIITUniversity. I've been a part of the organizing committee for TEDxKIITUniversity for two years now and it made me understand and appreciate the the amount of work that goes into making this community what it is!
