Hannah Chan is a senior at International High School and is currently pursuing her Bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma. She's passionate about opening up discussion in her community to help inspire change and progressive ideas. She delivered a TEDx talk in 2016 and was a part of the organizing team in 2017. Now, she's more excited than ever to be organizing the event during her third and final year!

I started out as a TEDx speaker, presenting at my school's second annual TEDxYouth@FAIHS event. Speaking on the pitfalls of our modern-day education system in America, I found myself drawn to the actual event planning process of the TEDx event. I joined my school's organizing team the next year, working as the Website/Marketing Manager. This year, I am co-organizing the same event in February 2018 and am excited to create an event that spreads excellent ideas from my community and beyond!
