Bio

I am a graduate of Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Punjab, and a storyteller, looking at how the food system affects public health. I work at the intersection of research, communication and design. As a self-taught digital designer with a love for Canva-based projects, I have done countless projects in my university life to explore my interests. I have also researched and published two literature reviews and currently researching what possible beneficial properties grape seeds may have. My passion is curiosity and learning. I always strive to seek out knowledge and experience to improve my skillset and contribute to the best of my ability.

I'm passionate about

I’m passionate about visual storytelling and helping those in need. I care deeply about public health nutrition, sustainable food systems, and the power of graphics to make complex ideas accessible. I’m driven by a belief that thoughtful design can transform understanding, shift behaviors, and spark healthier communities.

An idea worth spreading

How can we apply the 3R approach on everyday food waste to make it sustainable and nutritionally healthy for the underprivileged?

The TED story

TED has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would watch talks like The Paradox of Choice, How to Break Bad Habits, and those beautifully animated TED-Ed videos that made the brain feel like a universe waiting to be discovered. They opened doors in my mind long before I knew what field I would choose. I still watch these videos in my 20s. In 2016, my interest piqued when my elder brother helped organize a TEDx event at NUST Islamabad. Seeing the energy, the community, and the sheer power of ideas being shaped into experiences lit something in me. That’s when TED stopped being just videos on a screen and became a world I wanted to be part of. Today, stepping in as a Design Lead feels like coming full circle for me. From a child inspired by ideas to an adult shaping how those ideas are seen, felt, and understood, I could not be more grateful for this opportunity.

Things you might not know

People might not realize that I am a keen observer and good at solving problems while reading the room. I can find patterns fast, connect the dots, and adapt to unfamiliar situations in any field.
