Bio
Currently lead the global team of process engineers for Walmart, responsible for designing and helping to implement process changes in our stores, supply chain and home office teams that reduce our costs of operating, while improving associate engagement and customer satisfaction. Prior to Walmart, led a boutique management consulting firm--Webb & Shirley--that specialized in operations improvement, working with many of the top then 50 retail companies. Honors include Oklahoma State University College of Engineering Hall of Fame (2013) and the Sam Walton Entrepreneur Award for leadership and innovation (2009). Degrees in BS Architectural Studies (1977), MS Industrial Engineering (1979) and PhD Industrial Engineering (1984)--all from Oklahoma State University. Serve currently as board member of Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter and as advisor to Dean of Engineering College at OSU. Working closely with leaders in Oklahoma and Arkansas to attract and retain entrepreneurial talent to impact the world and the local communities in which they work.
