The TED story
A few years ago, I stumbled upon a TEDx talk, “It’s okay to not have a plan,” by Mithila Palkar. Wanting to educate myself about TED and TEDx holistically, I ended up watching talks from strata that build up our ecosystem cohesively, domains like technology, art, design, entertainment, human emotions, mathematics, several other sciences and that’s when it struck me that the expanse of TED and TEDx communities is so optimistically overwhelming.
I started exploring how these TEDx events actually work and got into the Organizing team of our University event, TEDxVITPune. Two years organising this event, we strived not only towards putting forth one day of unprecedented heights, but also engaging with our peers through creativity contests, newsletters and discussions in various forms.
