Bio
My name is Francisco José de Alencar Costa, but everyone calls me Franzé. I live in Brazil, in the southern portion of the state of Ceará, called Cariri. My city is Várzea Alegre. It is Known as the happiest city in Brazil. I have been an English teacher for 24 years. When I left the capital of my state, Fortaleza to Várzea Alegre, I came with the purpose of through the acquisition of the English language, bringing opportunities to children and young people. I became a volunteer for a global NGO where I was able to bring exchange students from many countries, as well as international events to the students here. I was able to provide exchange opportunities for public school students. Additionally, I became a mentor at Claylab Education Foundation. I am the first mentor outside India. Through the foundation and with help of a Brazilian and an Indian mentee, we developed a virtual exchange that will benefit students who cannot pay for an in-person exchange. In the future, we will expand to the disabled, elderly, professionals, and everyone who once dreamed of living an intercultural experience.
I'm passionate about
Helping people, especially young people. I Always study and learn to serve the others better. I get great satisfaction from seeing others grow. I am passionate about learning other languages and cultures. Besides that I love bringing opportunities, showing new ways, new possibilities to the youth.
