Bio

I am a smart undergraduate at Federal University of Technology Owerri, an Entrepreneur who loves creating strategic approach to solving problems affecting our daily activities. I enjoy planning Events and I can’t wait to get started in my career in Event planning and Management. Ever since I was a High school student with the role of a chapel prefect organising promising events and talk sessions with great record attendance- I’ve had a great passion for planning amazing events. At college, I have actively volunteered for NGOs such as I Smile Cos U Smile, Youth Empowerment Foundation, SDGs etc. I have also volunteered for TEDx Events such as TEDx Nekede Women and TEDx Port Harcourt and I have been able to carry out community projects targeted at solving Social challenges. I have taken up various Leadership positions in Enactus as the Technical Lead and at the Nigerian Federation of Catholic Students as its Ambassador, during this course I have been able to organise and partake in various Seminars, Community Development Projects, outreach and informational programs. I have always been the Event Manager of the biggest seminars and concerts in my school. Currently, I am serving as the Team Lead, Year One Orientation in my chaplaincy where we educate and enlighten freshmen on how best to go through the University. I am passionate about giving back to the community and have found that my involvement in organisations is valuable for a better community.

An idea worth spreading

APPRECIATE YOUR LITTLE WINS, LIFE IS NOT A COMPETITION WITH ANYONE. Life is a Journey of different stages and we are all alone in this race, recognising a Transition to a new stage is worth celebrating. Sometimes, when we get a news of a friend who just won a scholarship, got a new job, won a massive grant and moved to their new home, we become perplexed that we are not making as much progress as we should, at that point nothing is working. Then, we begin to question our strength, capabilities. Immediately, all our achievements run into exile as we keep asking "What am I not doing right?", "What's happening to my Life?". It's not as though we are not happy for the other people that something good happened to, we want to know why the Big Achievement didn't come to us. But No, we forgot there were times when Great things that happened to us nearly made others run into depression, they were also under pressure to make meaning of thier lives. The person that announced the Big Win probably won't tell you of the sleepless nights, rejections he encountered but all we see is the Glory and not the Story. It's important to realize that Life is an individual Journey and we are our Biggest competition. Work daily on improving yourself, you're not as bad as you think, your success lines will surely connect and never forget to Celebrate your Little Wins.
