Bio

Originally from New York (back when parts of Manhattan were actually rough), I attended the University of New England and graduated as a physical therapist, the first of way too many college degrees. I then worked in Boston and attended Boston University for graduate school and somehow ended up in Chattanooga, TN. I have authored a number of books and work in various areas of human and veterinary medicine. My research spans a dozen disciplines and I couldn't be happier about that! I travel and read incessantly! My other great passions are animals, especially dogs, hiking, and being in nature. Oh, and I host TEDx events in Chattanooga, TN!

I'm passionate about

People and helping them realize their full potential. Education and improving it. Brainstorming. Creativity. Positivity and how it changes the world. Human potential. Life!

An idea worth spreading

Listen to people. Listen to life. Really listen. All moments are indispensable.

The TED story

TED should be a part of everyone's day. Great ideas, great discussions, and positive energy. Truly ideas worth spreading.
