Ahmed Abdalla

A software engineering student at University of Khartoum. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia then moved back to Sudan. Ahmed is a great fan of Manchester United FC who enjoys football (soccer), swimming, table tennis , chess besides reading novels. He is an ambitious person who can't stop dreaming, a young man who believes that if he ran fast enough one day he will fly. Ahmed believes that voluntary work is a great way to find out what sort of career you want and get taste of working life... that's why he decided to take part of any voluntary work he could face and that's why participated in organizing many social events as a volunteer including some TEDx events at his country.

Football (soccer) , I think it's the best way to forget all your problems and to have 90 minutes full of excitement

A few years ago my friend and I were sitting at college..we were talking about our experiences and achievements that we have made since arriving to university-and honestly-It's hard to say it but there wasn't a lot to talk about..and suddenly a girl came by and handed us a leaflet and told us before leaving (smiling): you don't want to miss the opportunity !.. I looked at it and read with loud voice:"TEDxKhartoum ! Ideas worth spreading !! "..it looked like an event's invitation for me ! "sooo.. why don't we register ?..I mean we are not losing anything, right?"-my friend told me, and so we did. A few weeks later and exactly at 8:15 am I was there , the hall was filled with attendees who couldn't hide the features of happiness and excitement on their faces,and I couldn't know why !..yet. A few hours later...and after the end of the event ..I looked at the hall's main door and i totally knew that ..that Ahmed who enetered that door isn't the same Ahmed who was coming out of it
