About Arpine

Bio

I was born and raised in Greenwich Village, in New York City. I grew up living with my mother and step father. My father, a fashion photographer, grew up in Jerusalem until he was 36. He came to America , and immediately met my American Jewish mother, also a photographer, and fell madly in love. He asked her to marry him that year, and one year later I was born. I attended Sarah Lawrence College, where I studied Theatre and Psychology. After college, I pursued an acting career for several years. However, my acting naturally transitioned into a successful selling career in retail. Initially, I sold my uncle’s jewelry to friends during my college years. Then later I started working for the company. Over the past 30 years, I’ve had a remarkable career selling David Yurman jewelry. My responsibilities include traveling across the country and the world to train new hires and educate them about our brand and David Yurman’s vision. My cousin, Evan Yurman, is now the President of the company, while I hold the position of Director of Sales. In this role, I actively participate in opening new stores, collaborating closely with our high-net-worth clients, and even providing feedback to the design team on the styles we need to incorporate into our line. David Yurman has become a prominent American luxury jewelry brand today, and I am honored to be an integral part of its success. I have been with the company since its inception and have witnessed its growth far surpassing the wildest dreams of David and Sybil Yurman. My passion for connecting with people is truly ignited when I'm in a client engagement. I experience immense joy and share that feeling with our clients, which soon fosters a closeness that we share. This connection, in turn, establishes future sales based on the trust and affection that has been created.
