I am a mother of 4 and an avid learner.

I am passionate about thinking, questioning, studying, observing, and learning. I also am passionate about making the world around me better. Making sure that the people I come in contact walk away happier.

Optimism.

I was introduced to TED by my father many years ago. I was in high school and my dad was always making me watch a talk. In high school I cared less about what TED was. However, as I got older and learned more about myself and the world around me; I found myself being drawn back to TED. I am at the point now where I can't get enough. So much in fact that I am on the organization committee For the TEDxYakima. I then took it a step further and got over my fear of being on stage to be the MC for our events and I love it. Through TED I have learned, I have been empowered and I have been moved.
