About Richard
Bio
Richard is an Impact Entrepreneur, Sustainability Activist and Oneness Pilgrim. He envisions a world whereby every citizen lives a dignified and fulfilling life and his work is contributing to make this a reality.
He is the African Tech Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 (Orange-France Telecom); an Ashoka Fellow 2013 recognized as one of the world's leading social entrepreneurs and is a 2014 Fellow at Draper University; an unconventional boarding school bringing together many of the brightest young innovators worldwide with leading achievers at Silicon Valley for mentoring and exposure.
His previous start-ups received backing or recognition from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the U.S. Department of State, Marion Rockefeller Flow Funding, the United National Development Programme and Richard has been honored with close to a dozen prizes and fellowships.
