Bio
Christopher D. Jensen, Ph.D., is the Director for the Office of Student Involvement at San Jose State University. Chris has worked in higher education for over 20 years, in the areas of leadership development, community service/service-learning, campus safety, housing, Greek life, orientation, and enrollment management. His research has focused on the impact of community service experiences on students’ persistence in college. Chris has coordinated political engagement, environmental initiatives, service-learning, and leadership initiatives . In addition, he has provided leadership training nationally, through his affiliations with LeaderShape, Campus Compact, and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
