Rebecca Zipprich

Rebecca Zipprich began her extensive career in education fifteen years ago. Spending several years teaching early childhood, elementary, and special needs students in the city of Chicago, Rebecca developed a passion for creating student-centered programs for diverse student populations. She traveled to Shanghai, China, in 2006, to explore culturally responsive teaching and learning in an international context. Through her overseas experience, she has established herself as a transformational leader in early childhood and elementary education. Holding positions ranging from Curriculum Director to Head of School, she has facilitated diversified professional development programs, and has demonstrated effective strategies and practices for nurturing collaborative school cultures leading to sustainable cycles of school improvement. Currently, she is the Head of School at Hong Qiao International School where she inspires and guides the implementation of innovative educational programs for preschool through Grade 8 students.
