The TED story
In 2012, I started attending TEDx events and salons in my country, Lebanon. Every Thursday, I would meet up with a group of TED lovers like myself and we would spend the evening watching and discussing TED talks in a casual TEDxSKE environment. In the summer of 2013, I visited the USA and was impressed by the opportunities given to people to be creative and give back to their own communities. Upon my return to Lebanon, I felt that organizing a university event in my workplace would be an excellent way to contribute to my community and get the people around me involved in the mission of spreading new and innovative ideas. After partnering up with a colleague of mine, TEDxNDULouaize was born.
