Bio

I am a lover of people. My passion is empowering others to live an optimum lifestyle that is authentic with who they are here to be - free of limitations - free from judgement - full of energy and excitement for life. I am a mother of three amazing boys. I own a CrossFit gym with my husband. I actively participate in our community to increase awareness around wellness. I write for local magazines, and have recently been published in Naked Feet Leadership. I am a certified Personal Trainer, certified CrossFit Coach, certified CrossFit Kids Coach, and a certified Dr. Sears L.E.A.N. coach. I have been in the Fitness Industry for nearly 20 years. I have taught all types of group fitness and also provide one on one personal training. I am a member of the McLean County Wellness Coalition and am active on many of the subcommittees. I help to promote a proactive healthy lifestyle in our community. I currently focus on promoting physical health with CrossFit as well as Kid's Wellness. I work with local preschools to provide physical activity and nutrition curriculum to enhance the lives of children.

I'm passionate about

Empowering people of all ages to see and grow into their optimum potential.

The TED story

My first Ted talk that I saw was one of my favorite heroes, Jamie Oliver. I am passionate about children's wellness and saw TED2010: Jamie Oliver: Teach every child about food. At that point, I made it my mission to awaken and inspire my community as he did for me. After I had been inspired by his talk, I started browsing other talks...long story short, it is now one of my daily practices that I use on a daily basis to create my intention for the day.
