Robin is a entrepreneur and venture capitalist based between San Francisco and China. He is the co-founder of Goat Capital, an early stage venture capital firm, co-founder of Fractal, a Gaming NFT marketplace, co-founder of Operator, a commerce L2 protocol, and co-founder of Grace, an ageless fitness company. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he cofounded Operation Masks with friends from Silicon Valley, a 501c3 that delivered 100m units of PPE to state governments, hospitals, and schools throughout the country in 2020. The organization was profiled by the Financial Times, New York Times, Reuters, and the Wall Street Journal. Previously, he was the General Manager of Asia Business Operations for Zynga, through the acquisition of Beijing based XPD Media (Zynga China), where he was Founder and CEO. In 2010, Forbes named Robin as one of the “Nine Young Chinese Entrepreneurs to Watch.” He is an active angel investor, with early investments in Alibaba, Bird, Ramp, Square, Twitter, and Xiaomi. He also introduced Didi to Uber in 2013 when they were both less than 100 employees, and served as an advisor to Uber's entry into China in 2014. He and a few friends recently purchased and are in the midst of rehabilitating the Sea Ranch Lodge, an iconic architectural landmark on the Sonoma Coast. He is the children’s book author of Be A Bad Asian!, which hopes to subversively inspire the brightest Asian children to take more risk and not become engineers, doctors, or lawyers. Robin obtained a bachelor degree in economics from Columbia University and was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii.
