Born and raised in the city of Nairobi, at a young age of 10 became interested in playing drums after my Mom would take us to church every Sunday. After high school i got serious with developing my talent on playing drums. Started playing in churches and thats how i came to meet Eddy Grey who is a skilled, all rounded, perfect and excellent musician andhe helped develop my talent. I've played for and with many acts such as Kanjii Mbugua,Neema Ntalel, Juliani, Suzzana Owiyo, Aaron Rimbui, Kaima Mwiti, Jimmy Gait,Wahu,Just A Band,Atemi, Wyre, Nameless, Jaguar, Jua Cali, Camp Mulla, Redsan,Octopizzo, Sauti Sol, Fena,the great saxaphonist Chris Bittock and the Limericks band and many more local artists. Also international acts like Javen from the US at the spread the love festival in 2010,Viviane Greene,Omari from UK, Kristin Alicia from Jamaica, shared the stage with Angelique Kidjo at Yale university alongside Just A band, Israel Houghton at the one love festival in 2010 in Nairobi,jonathan butler, p square, lira,Cece Winans,Deitrick and Damita haddon, Aloe Blacc at blankets and wine festival in april 2016 Played in major festivals in Kenya and outside such as the safaricom live in kenya 2012,2013,2014, Blankets and wine, Africa noveau, SXSW in texas,yale and harvard universities,with Just A Band, TED conference in Scotland, Moeres festival, Sauti za busara festival,African futures festival in south africa, COP 17 tour to South Africa. I'm a member of the Threat Band Kenya, and currently working with Juliani, the Limericks band and mainly Just A Band's band member.I've made major achievements with Just A Band touring and gigging around the world and working on my own projects too.
