I am a Kenyan musician, photographer, blogger and adventure traveler. I play keyboards and work as the Music director for Just-A-Band, a funk band based in Nairobi, Kenya. In my music career, I have played for and shared a stage with various artistes including Juliani (Kenya), Atemi (Kenya), Kanjii Mbugua (Kenya), Javen Campbell (United States), Omar Lye Fook (UK) among others as Music Director. I am a self taught musician and have always challenged myself to learn new things with every opportunity I get. Along my musical journey, I met two of the best photographers I know in Africa, Mwangi kirubi a.k.a Mwarv (www.click.co.ke) and Mutua Matheka (www.mutuamatheka.co.ke) and formed a great relationship with them that got me very interested in Photography. In 2010 I joined their conglomeration, OneTouch, which by the time was not yet a registered company. Now newly registered, OneTouch Media is a group of photographers and musicians who are passionate about re-writing the story of Africa. I currently am the lead researcher in this great group of professionals in their various fields. We are currently planning to cover Africa by road in about 4 years to explore and capture the beauty and diversity of the African continent.

I am passionate about Africa, Photography (Mobile: mainly landscape and street photography), Music and travel. I am a self taught musician (Playing piano) and photographer. Africa is looking great!

A few friends and I at OneTouch media in Nairobi, Kenya have come up with a travel project (by road) that will cover Africa in about 4 years. OneTouch is made up of photographers and musicians passionate about the African story, richness, talent and beauty. We have seen a lot of stories on both international and local media that would prefer Africa to be shy about her problems. OneTouch would prefer Africa to accept her downfalls and failure but also talk about her beauty, windfalls and richness twice as much. Adversity makes for a good story and that is nothing to be shy about. African art and music scene is alive and kicking with young men and women passionate about making it in Africa. This upcoming project kicks of in September with a photographic road trip from Nairobi to Walvis Bay and Skeleton Coast, Namibia that will take 61 days and cover Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho and Namibia.
