I thrive in the abstract and work to find leverage points in our concrete world to develop upgraded internal and external environments where we're more energized, connected, and productive.

I lived in Guatemala City from 2010-2012, and one of the most impactful impressions from that experience was having my eyes opened to the abundance of resources we have in the US. When I returned to the US, I committed to myself I'd never take for granted any of that privilege ever again, and that I'd dedicate my life to using these extensive resources to create a more connected, more vibrant, more authentic world. TEDxSaltLakeCity 2013 was one of my first big moves in making that happen. I plan to hold TEDxSaltLakeCity every year indefinitely. My vision is to create a signature event in my beautiful city that fosters creativity, innovation, risk-taking, a greater understanding of value and exchange, and high levels of accountability and discipline within a container of honesty, vulnerability, and integrity of intent that will naturally emerge as a model for the world.
