I've been following TED since the mid-nineties, after a co-worker was invited to a secret, invitation-only event in California. She came back transformed. Immediately, I had to know more about TED and became an follower. Later in my career, when I became a leader of a larger group and was looking for inspiration, I turned to TED. As the years continued, and many, many TED Talks later, I use TED for everything, including my own inspiration and self-education, to inspiration for others, to research important topics and to learn more about the world. What I love about TED is that it is a platform for public speaking and training to get brilliant thoughts across to the world in a highly effective way. Finally, in 2019, I participated in my first TED Conference and am forever changed. It is a wonderful and amazing platform to give opportunities to so many brilliant and amazing people, as we are all on this journey to make our world a better place. I love that I am a part of TED.
