I am a UK-trained elementary school educator with ten years of experience in a leading independent school in London, where I currently serve as Head of Year 5 (Grades 4–5). At this school, I also have seven years of teaching experience in Year 6 (Grades 5–6). I am committed to creating transformational learning experiences that cultivate intellectual curiosity, creativity, and confident self-expression in young learners.

Since 2020, beginning in the depths of lockdown, I have led our annual TEDx programme, coaching thirty-five girls and boys in Year 5 (Grades 4–5) and Year 6 (Grades 5–6), and overseeing the licence for six consecutive years. Each year students speak at St Michael’s Church in Westminster, sharing their ideas to an audience of peers, parents and teachers. Their talks have generated over 6.2 million views on YouTube, but the real impact lies in the confidence, clarity and sense of agency students gain through the process. Many describe TEDx as a defining highlight of their time at school. For me, it represents education at its best: empowering young people to think deeply, speak with conviction and contribute thoughtfully to the world around them.

People don’t always know that I am a keen birdwatcher and outdoor enthusiast, often happiest exploring nature and creating opportunities for students to learn beyond the classroom.
