Bio
Dana Harper, AMFT, is law enforcement professional by day and a mental health professional by night. With 25 years of experience working with youth and adults involved in the justice system, a heart to help others succeed in life propelled her to pursue a professional counseling career. She specializes in women’s issues, couples counseling and childhood trauma.
Over the past 5 years, she has been providing professional counseling to court involved youth, couples, women and children. In addition, she is the sole proprietor of Perspective Life Coaching. As a professional life coach she works with women to help them develop skills that enhances their professional acumen and prepares them for the unique issues they encounter in the workplace.
She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated where her commitment to scholastic achievement and community activism were enriched. Her Zeta zeal has resulted in her involvement with the Ladies of Bunche, a school-based mentorship program. In addition, she is the staff counselor for Yet She Rises, a parenting and transitional youth program sponsored by the City of La Habra, that provides psycho-eduation and art therapy to young adult parents and their children. In addition, the support of homelessness and AIDS advocacy are important to her.
