Bio
Khin is a gender and development professional with a passion for women's and LGBTQI+ rights in Myanmar. Currently, she is the Head of Business Development at the Business Coalition for Gender Equality (BCGE) where she is working on implementing and advocating for workplace gender equality in the private sector in Myanmar.
Khin holds a B.A. in International Relations and French and Francophone Studies from Brown University and previously worked in the international development industry in Washington D.C. Her personal experience as a queer woman from Myanmar motivated her to further explore gender, sexuality and development in Southeast Asia from a postcolonial lens. She recently completed her Master's in Gender, Policy and Inequalities at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
In her free time, she likes to eat absurd amounts of pasta, paint, and snuggle with her 20-pound cat.
