After completing my university education, I returned to India to build an organisation, CollegeLab, that strives to provide technologically integrated, accessible and most importantly affordable solutions to educational challenges facing South Asia. Having experienced education systems in both the UK and India, my long run vision is to push for a more holistic learning process focused on conceptual understanding and an application of knowledge - a system that will help students in their future careers rather than one oriented towards rote learning and the reproduction of memorized jargon in an exam setting.

Working with learners of all ages to help them explore what it means to them to be educated.

That we need to revisit all our preconceived notions about education and see if they still work in the 21st century. School systems based primarily around grades, examinations, rigid curricula and a central planning authority have hindered the development of more useful skills in today's world: especially collaboration and the ability to deal with ambiguity. Educators and educational policymakers need to rethink our fundamental educational processes so that we can make more children engage with learning and prepare them better for the future.
