As the founder of Education Consultant Firm, Lovella provides expert consulting in areas such as school administration, curriculum development, test preparation, transcript evaluation, and college readiness. She partners with organizations to equip students and families with financial literacy, college planning, and workforce development tools. Additionally, Lovella is an advocate for after-school enrichment, STEM education, and college/career readiness programs. I wanted to do a TEDx around educating through educators, teachers, parents, creatives, doctors, nurses, and community leaders because I believe these are the voices that often go unheard; both inside and outside the classroom. I see their daily struggles: educators trying to reach students in broken systems, parents doing their best with limited resources, creatives pushing boundaries to keep learning alive, and frontline professionals like doctors and nurses who carry wisdom beyond textbooks. These people have stories that matter. They carry knowledge shaped by experience, compassion, and perseverance. They can teach us in ways we’ve never imagined. I am passionate about giving them a platform, not just to speak, but to be truly seen and heard. Because when we listen to the people doing the work, living the life, and feeling the weight of the challenges, that’s when real transformation in education begins.
