I'm passionate about

I believe in Ideas worth spreading. Over the years, have seen how ideas have improve many communities, countries, Nations in the world. As a result of that, have been championing Ideas worth spreading. Have been encouraging those in communities to share ideas. We should inform, empower and educate others. As the result of that, I organise regular workshops where I bring to the community, people who will inform, empower and educate the community on several issues of political, education, and others that can promote economic wellbeing of the people. And this was the main reason I went in for the license from TED. Because TED believes in Ideas worth spreading

An idea worth spreading

The TED story

Due to the fact that Africa is not a permanent member of the United Nation’s Security Council and does not have veto power, the continent has been left without a decisive voice in the direction of the world. This network, since its inception, first excluded African countries. Subsequently, African countries were invited to sit at the roundtable. However these seats may be described as mere tickets to the gallery with express permission to sit, observe, and applaud. Since its founding in 1946, the Security Council has consisted of five permanent members who hold sole authority to veto substantive resolutions put before the Security Council for deliberations. These five permanent members include four nations that are considered the victorious powers of World War II: The Republic of China (replaced by the “The People’s Republic of China’’), The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics ( Succeeded by “Russia), the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and one nation liberated from Nazi Germany during World War II: France Over the years, African Nations are treated like second class citizens at the United Nations, this has made many African Nations not to believe in themselves. Many at times they have made us to believe that, things from Africa are inferior and this has affected the people of Africa. How can we believe that, products manufactured from most part of my country are most consume when we labelled them made in China or Italy though it was produced in Ghana? After several attempt to research into this, I realized that, the African accepts the products from China, Italy, Korean and others more than those made in the country due to the fact that its being made by White person. After, we started Promobile GH, 100% Ghanaian own company, many of our customers walks to us and ask, where are your servers hosted? And when you response local, then the next question is how secured is your sever? But, when we mention our severs are hosted in Indian or US, they rather prefer that. How can we grow our continent with this attitude? How can we be taken serious with this mental reactions. Why don’t we support our own? My late President, Kwame Nkrumah said during the Independence of our Nation “The Black man is capable of managing his own affairs” Why then do we believe that, is only when we label our products made in China or Italy that can survive. Do you think, President Obama JUST said YES WE CAN for the people of United States? Or said that to mean that, YES the republicans can rule the Nation? NO. Over the years, there has been the notion that, nothing good comes from the Black Community. He said YES WE CAN just to remind them of what Nkrumah said during the Independence of Gold Coast. BLACK person can manage the affairs of the United State of America. And YES he did it. My Company Promobile GH, has developed a local payment platform that enable the local merchant and sellers to accept payments online since Paypal and others has refused to include my country into their territory. This has helped many local merchants to accepts and sell on online thus putting them at par with their international counterparts. I believe in Africa, so you should also believe in Africa.
