The TED story
A gathering of some of the most compelling, informed, and passionate people from the edge of technology, science, business, the humanities, and the arts. A community where ideas are exchanged and critical thought is encouraged. An organization that democratizes knowledge and ideas which tackle some of our world's greatest challenges is something we need more of. The idea of a people focused on ideas worth spreading is a great idea--perhaps the best idea.
