The TED story
I was briefly introduced to TEDTalks when I studied abroad in South Africa in 2012. I remember watching one of Simon Sinek's talks in my marketing class and thinking it was a really cool way of looking at the world. About 8 months later my friend mentioned he was planning a TEDx event and I offered to help. Ever since I have been hooked. TEDxFoggyBottom 2013 was the first event I helped plan and it is something that has changed my life in so many ways. I had the amazing opportunity to help TEDxFoggyBottom triple in size in 2014 and met so many incredible people from that experience. TED has helped me find something that I am truly passionate about and a way that I can give back to my community in a meaningful way.
