Bio
I run a Public Speaking Accelerator programme for founders and executive teams that specialises in helping entrepreneurs and organizations use public speaking to raise finance, build brands and lobby governments.
My speaking philosophy is simple; land, write and deliver a talk once, then put it online for the world to see. Public speaking isn’t about speaking on every stage possible. It’s about using the recording of your talk as a piece of thought leadership and putting it in front of the people that need to see it.
Prior to this, I turned a small London start-up I was co-running into an award-winning, 250-person strong company raising over £12.5 million along the way. I am also the Founder of TEDxClapham, an offshoot of the world-famous TED talks. Our conference has a history of producing talks that have created global change and have been seen by millions (so far).
The TED story
I was asked to speak at a TedX event at Lancaster University a while back, which ended up not happening. When researching for my speech, I became fascinated by the talks and am now preparing to run my very first talk in Clapham in November 2014.
