Bio
Mom, CEO and Publisher of Lipstick and Politics. I created Lipstick and Politics to examine the pervasiveness of cognitive bias that can lead to sexism, racism, ageism and every other 'ism' out there. My desire is to close the gap between reader and content and tackle issues that are hindering growth for women and society at large. Consequently, Lipstick and Politics strives to include men in the conversation as no problem can be fixed in ideological silos. I also co-founded a non-profit called Zero Gap committed to solving gender parity in workplace culture. As an Artist/Songwriter, I have been on the board of the Grammys and co-chaired the membership committee. I've had collaborations on multi-platinum albums. I have also served on the on board of West Coast Songwriters. @miraveda
