Roe Bressan

Roe Bressan started her career in television coordinating ABC After School Specials. She quickly advanced to production work on music videos and feature films including Pope of Greenwich Village and Presumed Innocent. She landed in commercial advertising as a table top producer for Coane Productions and later spent a number of years working with noted photographer-turned-director Norman Seeff. An acknowledged leader in her field, Roe helped build one of the first coast-to-coast editorial networks as Executive Producer and Managing Director at Red Car/New York, taking that company’s small Manhattan outpost and quadrupling its size. The dramatic growth of Red Car/New York played a critical role in allowing it to become the industry’s first national editorial brand. In 2002, Roe was the executive that the Whitehouse turned to when they decided to build one of the industry’s first multi-national editorial companies. Roe launched its New York office and helped build the shop with her unique mix of hands-on management, creative decision-making and industry expertise. She left the Whitehouse in 2005 to achieve yet another industry first—the creation of Navigating, the first true independent management consultancy for creative companies in the production, post-production and new media arenas. A Navigating assignment led Roe to Spontaneous and BlueRock, where she initially served as a production consultant. The chemistry matched and in 2008, John Palestrini and Ethel Rubinstein acquired Navigating and appointed Roe as President/COO of the Stairway 9 strategic alliance composed of Spontaneous, BlueRock, Ballistic, and BLAST In 2010, she became a partner. In 2011, Stairway 9 added Scarlett and MOTIVE 3.0 under their offering umbrella. February 2012 saw Roe's concentration evolve to President/CMO. Roe, a native New Yorker lives in the west village.
