An idea worth spreading
IUHS --- www.iuhs.edu --- is a medical school that uses an live and archived, online teaching method -- where distant students who are health professionals (nurses; nurse practitioners; physician assistants; pharmacists; physical therapists; psychologists; health scientists and science postgrads) who have verified hospital access, can use that access for the practical portion of the first two years of instruction. They study to become physicians. A mentor physician -- appointed as an honorary adjunct professor -- is chosen of assigned to the student. Standards are high, costs and fees low (the capital and staffing expenses are kept low -- with the 'other peoples walls' online education concept -- during a large, worldwide student expansion)... This is a low cost solution to the severe physician -- especially primary care -- shortage worldwide at a much reduced expense to the student.
