Prossy is passionate about promoting media initiatives for community transformation and development. For the last 8 years Prossy has worked in the media as a News Reporter, News Anchor, News Editor and Media training facilitator. Prossy currently works as the Projects Executive at the Uganda Radio Network. She is a Co-founder of Center for Media Literacy and Community Development, a Non-Profit organization registered in Uganda to promote media and community strategies for social transformation. Prossy is a Community Solutions Program fellow , a professional development program for the best and brightest global community leaders working in Transparency and Accountability, Tolerance and Conflict Resolution, Environmental Issues, and Women and Gender Issues. It is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, and implemented by IREX. While in the USA, Prossy was selected to speak at TEDxABQWomen where she highlighted the benefits of equal coverage of women issues in the media.
