Bio
I am an education consultant, specializing in inclusive pedagogy and programming to develop people into active democratic citizens. I work with various organizations whose mission is to equip groups of systemically marginalized youth with tools to empower them academically and socially. Currently, I develop the arts and literacy programming at Beacon 54, a Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) after-school site. I also Co-Chair the Facilitation and Training Committee at HCZ which develops educators’ philosophy and instruction into a dynamic pedagogy. My latest projects include PAVE, an artist speaker series for youth, and LYRIC project, a music appreciation program focusing on personal narratives as a form of preemptive justice.
I'm passionate about

An idea worth spreading
There is a fundamental difference between human and machine. Unfortunately, our societies operate as if we are mechanic. We are not machines wired to act in a prescribed manner. Our natural world is not a machine, it operates dynamically, naturally. We are not separate from our world, therefore not in competition. Competition is an illness created in our minds; a fallacy of economics and schooling. Capitalism creates the delusion that our happiness is synonymous with wealth and consumption. The truth is, we seek happiness through harmony and equilibrium - sustainability.
