Angélica Dass is an award-winning photographer born in Brazil and currently living in Madrid, Spain. Angélica’s practice combines photography with sociological research and public participation in defense of human rights globally. She is the creator of the internationally acclaimed Humanæ Project—a collection of portraits that reveal the diverse beauty of human colors. The initiative has traveled to more than 31 cities across six continents—from The World economic Forum in Davos to the pages of National Geographic, —to promote dialogue that challenges how we think about skin color and ethnic identity.

We are all different, but that's surely our species’ most powerful resource. By cataloging every conceivable human skin tone, Humanae illustrates that skin color and race are more complex than they might appear at first glance.

I was speaker in TED2016, TEDxMadrid2013, TEDxSaoPaulo2016, TEDxGateway2016 and TEDxSalonRiodeLaPlata2017. I was interviewed at TEDxMadrid2016. I attend to TEDSummit at Banff2016, TED2017 and to TEDGlobalNYC2017.
