Bio
I manage several interdisciplinary communities, encompassing avid film aficionados, Taiwanese cinema, and Taiwanese TEDx circles, and am also a co-founder of the “Skyline” platform. At the moment, I am engaged with the non-profit entity, Taiwan Future Society, while simultaneously serving as the Co-organizer of the TEDxNYCU team at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University.
During my college tenure, my exploration centered around information technology, diplomacy, social entrepreneurship, and philosophical counseling, among others. Subsequently, I ventured into the management consulting realm and entrepreneurship, with a stint in tech firms across Beijing and Fujian. Now back in Taipei, contributing to a local NPO, while revisiting academia within the STS department, delving into the societal and democratic implications of emerging digital technologies (decentralized technologies, DID, DAO).
Having been involved in the TEDx community and curation for 10 years, in recent years I have found that with the increasing convenience of information dissemination and the rise of self-media, Taiwanese TEDx teams increasingly overlook the “idea-centric” and “curation” aspects, turning into repeatedly inviting a few YouTubers for celebrity talks and career sharing. Out of concern, together with a few other more experienced curators, we are striving to establish a shared, co-learning community to enhance the quality of Taiwanese TEDx teams. Currently, I also serve as a team advisor for multiple university TEDx teams.
I'm passionate about
Delivering and sharing works with interesting and valuable viewpoints, whether they are TED Talks, TEDx Talks, or feature films or TV series.
An idea worth spreading
When the world’s data is on the blockchain, the process of all human behaviors generating data is equivalent to “mining”, and therefore humans will only need to “live well” to contribute to the economic system, providing a strong foundation for the UBI (Universal Basic Income) system, and the development of AI has the opportunity to not be monopolized by a few corporations or governments, becoming a fair and safe technology.

The TED story
I came into contact with TED Talks because I wanted to learn English when I was in high school. I learned about the existence of TEDx in 2011, and started to study curation in 2012, obtained the first TEDx authorization in 2013, and founded TEDxFJU (later renamed TEDxFJCU) while studying at Fu Jen Catholic University. After working in Beijing, he co-founded TEDxHaidian (Haidian, the administrative region of Zhongguancun). Now he is returning to China to continue to promote the TED/TEDx spirit and hold TED Circles authorized activities, and try to regroup the Taiwan TEDx community, restore mutual help and mutual benefit, and stimulate and work together progress!
Things you might not know
Although I am not a practitioner in the film and television industry, I love watching movies so much that I can watch a lot of films at once. This year is less, but last year and the year before, I achieved the record of watching over four hundred films in a year in cinemas and on streaming platforms. (I also watched 6 movies on the plane to TEDWomen2023) Therefore, through chatting, I can often recommend movies suitable for my friends at the moment without giving away spoilers. I also often hold cinema booking events in Taiwan, as well as online movie-watching parties.
