Tiffany West, MPH, MSPH, is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Strategist for DARE (Data Analysis Research and Evaluation) Global Innovation. DARE Global Innovations is an innovative and adaptable consulting firm focused on translational research and implementation sciences. DGI is focused on increasing capacity of organizations and systems to serve the health needs of communities and people through population and public health approaches. Through the provision and promotion of data, technical, scientific and strategic solutions, DGI's experts are focused on applying knowledge management, evidence based programming and other approaches to increase efficiency and effectiveness of organizations and systems. Prior to founding DGI, Tiffany served as bureau chief for the Strategic Information Unit at the HIV/AIDS Administration, in Washington, DC for 7 years. Tiffany has worked on a number of local and national policy and research initiatives focusing on data use for evidence based programming in Washington, DC and around the country. Tiffany was primarily responsible for oversight of HIV, STD, Hepatitis and Tuberculosis surveillance and epidemiology for the District of Columbia and provided technical oversight to prevention, care and treatment service programs on the collection, analysis, characterization and use of public health information. She is served as state principal investigator for the HIV Prevention Trial Network Study 065, Assessing the feasibility of Testing, Linkage to Care and Treatment strategy for HIV in the US, Co PI for the DC community viral load project. Ms West works closely with local and national partners on use of surveillance data for program monitoring, 12 cities initiative, and the Program Collaboration and Service Integration (PCSI). Prior to joining HAHSTA, Tiffany was a Project Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a JRCOSTEP with Indian Health Service stationed in the Aberdeen, South Dakota region and as a chronic disease epidemiologist at the Louisiana Office of Public Health. Tiffany received her Masters of Public Health degree in Community Health Promotion and Evaluation and a Masters of Science in Public Health in Epidemiology from Tulane University in Louisiana. Ms West also attended Xavier University in Louisiana.
