As an academician I have strongly supported the teacher and student community in focusing on skill development and activity based learning. I strongly feel that ‘Passion is Paramount” for learning and teaching.As an entrepreneur. I have introduced the concept of kids’ activity farm in Bangalore. I felt the strong need to make our children aware about farming and challenges faced by our farmer community. As a result of this urge, I started “The Big Barn farm”. My ability in Logical planning, systematic thinking along with creativity and compassion has led to the success of the brand. I have transformed my vision into a reality through detailed organization, prudent allocation of resources and people skills. Till date more than 5000 school students have visited the farm and have been introduced to the importance of farming and a true appreciation of the rural life.

Attending the TED women conference in Palm Springs was a life altering experience. It was also a bit overwhelming initially. The feeling soon changed from being nervous to being motivated and inspired as the conference progressed. The TED team leaves no stone unturned when it comes to hospitality and experience. To be in a room full of such amazing bold -brilliant-beautiful-bright minds was a learning experience.The TED speakers really strike a chord somewhere deep down. My biggest take back from all the sessions was that "Passion is Paramount". No matter what happens around you the right perspective and passion can change the world around you.

My upbringing and education give me the capacity for fearless thinking that is needed to meet the challenges posed by the shifting landscapes of business. I want to further strengthen that foundation and become the kind of dynamic leader I aspire to be and bring the vision for my endeavors to life and be at the forefront of education management. We are going through some interesting changes in our education system and I would like to utilize the opportunity to bring about fundamental changes to the teaching- learning process. Going beyond a teacher, students, citizens call of duty and contributing to the society is the idea we are trying to propogate.
