I am a student athlete at the University of New England majoring in medical biology with honors work in neurogenetics. My research focus includes using Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism to study acute and chronic pain. As an athlete I have served as a two-year varsity captain of the men's soccer team and currently play semi-professional soccer for the GPS Portland Phoenix. I was recently named a first-team Capital One Academic All-American. I currently serve as the student-trustee at the University of New England.
