Bio

Matthew is an accomplished senior executive and social impact entrepreneur in the emerging technology field. Matthew is the principal at FonderX.co, a social impact and innovation-focused consultancy. In addition, he serves as executive advisor to startup founders across fintech, mobility,web 3, SaaS and cyber security. Matthew is also the board chair of a local entrepreneurship non-profit. Matthew possesses a history of multilateral stakeholder alignment across public, private, and faith-based sectors leveraging technology for social impact. Matthew has been instrumental in expanding emerging technology adoption through global partnerships with NGOs, governments, and faith-based organizations. Matthew is a Humanity 2.0 Patron Council member, a member of the Forbes Impact Community, and a recipient of the Laudato Si Impact Award in coordination with The Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development. Matthew holds a B.S. in Biology and Marketing from Loyola University Maryland; and an Executive M.B.A. from Washington State University. In addition, Matthew is a certified Impact Measurement and Management specialist for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through Duke University Fuqua School of Business. Matthew also holds multiple certifications in strategic board service, including long-term growth, M&A strategy, cybersecurity, and strategic communications. Matthew is a respected contributor to many business publications and believes companies can deliver top-tier products and services while operating with a double or triple-bottom-line approach.
