Katarina Cermanova

1984 - I was born in Kežmarok, Slovakia. Since then I was educated till the year 2010 when I received a master degree in Product and Interior design. I was working as a graphic designer in some companies and cooperations. Soon I started to work as a freelancer. My last experience as an employee was in an advertising company in Prague. I left this position to be on my own and to work on projects I believe are important for me. Now I am in Kežmarok again...

I´m passionate about how the life is working, find the patterns and understand it.

My TED story started with Theo Jansen and his creatures. It was love for first sight. Soon, I spotted a notice on fb about TEDxBratislava 2010. I wanted to take part, but for me as a student, the ticket was a bit expensive, so I wrote an offer to organisers, that I would love to give a hand on the event, if they want to. The wish came through and I met all organisers, and next year I became one of them. I met because of TED many many inspiring and nice people. I am very thankful for that. It is one of the very best things and feelings to be a part of TEDx event.
