About Shreya
Bio
A high school senior, Shreya Joshi has grown up witnessing the detrimental effects of political polarization. She believes that civil discourse, specifically conversation between people who hold opposing perspectives, is the key to bridging the partisan divide and as such she founded Project TEAL: a student-led, non-partisan organization helping young people become engaged citizens.
Joshi also serves as the executive director of Redefy, a nonprofit working to further equity and combat discrimination. She is the national training director and national women’s caucus chair at the High School Democrats of America and a student representative on Chicago’s Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission.
