A 18+ year TED veteran, I lead the Audacious Project at TED, a collaborative funding platform that surfaces big ideas from the world’s leading social entrepreneurs, and pools the resources of philanthropists to give those ideas lift-off. To date, over $8B has been catalyzed for 70 projects - spanning work in global health, climate, economic mobility, breakthrough science and more. Previously, the Director of the annual, $1-million TED Prize. The role led to some incredible adventures -- from pasting on the walls of Haiti with street artist JR to witnessing the endangered species of the Galapagos with Sylvia Earle. Prior to TED, I worked with Christiane Amanpour at CNN in London. When I’m not working, I’m planning my next global adventure, or hunting for my next baked good obsession in my Brooklyn neighborhood.
