Global head - Energy, Utilities and Services (EUS) and Member of the board - Infosys China, a Infosys company With over 18 years in the industry Prasad Thrikutam is currently the Global head of Energy, Utilities and the Services industries. Earlier to this Prasad led the Hi-tech and Manufacturing unit and grew it from 125m to 400+ million registering a 35+ % growth between 2004 and 2008. Prasad joined Infosys in 1995, as a regional head of business operations in the US, he was responsible for growing the business from 0 to 50m in 5 years making the southern region over 10% of Infosys business. Prasad is a frequent speaker at a number of industry events including events organized by Univ of Austin, MIT, Univ Arizona Eller school of business and the Fuqua School of business at Duke Univ. Prior to joining Infosys, Mr. Thrikutam headed the regional operations at a leading IT company in India selling solutions to the enterprise market. Prior to which Mr. Thrikutam was at Bosch Gmbh, playing leadership roles in manufacturing and operations areas. Mr. Thrikutam received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering from Bangalore University and MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
